Scholarship History:
While speaking at a past Class of ’78 reunion, the late Mr. R. D. Smith, CHHS Assistant Principal from 1970 to 1980, challenged our class to start a scholarship fund. From that challenge, our trailblazing classmates Kay Ray Edwards, Joey Lovingood, Donnie Farrow and Sue Brickhouse, collaborated with CHHS administrators and the Chapel Hill-Carrboro Public School Foundation (PSF) to establish our scholarship fund.
5-Year Scholarship Fundraiser Strategic Plan:
This is OUR roadmap to establish our Scholarship Endowments. Under the Committee's Statement, we emphasize our decentralizing fundraising plans with our new team concept. This is where everyone has the opportunity to validate their stake in OUR LEGACY. Click here to learn more about our Strategic Fundraiser Plan.
